The Practical Tips of Business Card Marketing

There are thousands of small businesses in the market, but only a meager few succeed. Many professionals feel that this is because of marketing campaigns and expenses. Without proper advertising and the use of business cards, companies do not make a good impression on the public. After all, it is important to embed your brand into every persons head. Fortunately, this can easily be done by using and marketing business cards.

While every business may have a business card, not everyone has a professional one. It is crucial that your custom business card stands out among the crowd. This can be done by purchasing color business cards and then making them creative. There are many businesses that become too lazy to go beyond the generic layout, thus leaving clients bored and unimpressed. If you were to have a professional business card that was full of life, perhaps it would say something about your business to others. It would not only show them that you stand out from the pack, but you also pay extra attention to every detail. For instance, adding photos to your business cards would also make it original. As long as it draws attention and screams “purchase my services,” it will be beneficial.

If you feel that your color business cards are not unique enough, you could also put a picture of yourself on the card. If it is your business, it is beneficial to show your clients that you care. This will connect your face to the business you are trying to push into the market. Many people like personalized cards, because they feel like you care about them and their services. It is also great for people to attach a name to a face, and as a result, people will be more likely to remember you.

After you have created a marketable custom business card, it is imperative to advertise it correctly. There are dozens of bulletin boards in your area that usually attract hundreds of people a week. By placing a few business cards in each location, you will also be able to get your name out. However, this is not the only way to market your professional business cards. No matter who you talk to during the day, it is essential to somehow slip your business card into their hands. After all, you have no idea who they know and what services they may someday need, thus it gives you potential business. For instance, if you meet someone in the grocery store and you begin talking, you could give them your business card at the end of the conversation. It is necessary to connect with others on a personal level, and then once you have maintained their trust, you can offer your services. While it is vital to give out as many as you can, you also have to be careful. The last thing you want to do is come across as a pushy businessman.

No matter what type of company you are, custom business cards can be a great benefit. It is important to market these professional cards correctly, since you never know who you are going to meet. Although advertising your services in newspapers and handing them out at popular areas is great, it is imperative to always connect with others. One would be surprised how beneficial it can be to just take a step back and talk with a bystander.

Article Marketing - How Can You Benefit From Your Content

After spending some time on the internet, you have probably noticed that, everywhere you turn, you see articles. Article marketing has become one of the most popular methods of marketing on the internet today. What makes articles so great is that you can provide information about your products or services to get the word out about what you have to offer. The key to making article marketing work is making sure you have good, unique content.

The content of the article has to be relevant while offering the user information in an easy to read format and it must be completely unique. Copying other people’s work is not just bad practice, it is illegal if the copied material is copyrighted. It will not help you in any way for several reasons. The first reason is that article submission services will not accept copied articles, after so many submissions that are copied, you will be turned away from the service.

In other words, in order to make article marketing work for you, write articles that are informative, well written and are 100% unique. Articles can be great for writing reviews of your services or products.

When writing reviews you will want to keep a few things in mind. To write a good review that will keep the readers interest, you should follow these helpful tips:

1. Keep to the point. Do not fluff the information. Readers do not enjoy having to filter through all the fluff just to find the information you are really trying to tell them, they will immediately disregard your article and move on to something else.

2. Keep it truthful. Dishonesty is usually discovered right away. Make sure you are completely honest about the services or products you are offering this reader. If you do not offer a whole lot, but are looking to expand or upgrade, make sure you say so. Readers are so much more receptive to honesty.

3. Include as much information as you can about your product or service. Why they should look to you and why they should buy from you. Again, keep it straight and to the point.

4. Make sure it is well written, flows easily and is free from grammatical and spelling errors.

5. Be sure to include things such as price, where to find it, what the product or service can offer them and any special features.

After you have written your review, it is time to submit it to article directories. These directories work well in providing click-through traffic. In other words, when the reader has finished reading the article and you have piqued their interest, they can click on your link in the resource box and visit your website.

Article directories are also great for getting back links to your site, which many of us know is great for search engine rankings. In article directories, you can give other webmasters permission to publish your article on their website or blog. The only stipulation is that they must keep the resource box intact. This means that when the webmaster publishes your article, they are providing you a back link from their site to yours that equals more traffic!

Today's Definition of Marketing. Has It Changed?

With the continued proliferation of the Internet, the meaning of the word "marketing" also seems to proliferate. Cyberspace has opened up a whole arena of new marketing technologies, techniques, and twists. Amidst the online exuberance, it seems each online marketer or salesperson changes the definition of marketing to suit his or her preference.

Many times, ill-conceived notions and perceptions reduce the meaning of the word "marketing" to a shadow of it’s true self. Many see marketing as a series of tactics or gimmicks. Some define marketing as pyramid programs and the like. Others treat the words "marketing" and "sales" or "marketing" and "advertising as synonymous. None of these adequately convey the definition of marketing.

Different Marketing Definitions

Along with all of the new terminology, new techniques, and new twists the Internet has brought us, it has also opened opportunities for misguided notions about the definition of marketing. While the above definitions describe different facets or definitions of related terms, they do not convey the much broader process that is truly marketing. By taking a look at some dictionary and trade definitions of marketing we can get a better feel for what marketing is truly about:

American Marketing Association Definition

The process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion, and distribution of ideas, goods, and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives. (Note 1)

American Heritage Dictionary's Definition of Marketing

The commercial functions involved in transferring goods from producer to consumer. (Note 2)

Merriam Webster's Marketing Definition

1 b: the process or technique of promoting, selling, and distributing a product or service. 2: an aggregate of functions involved in moving goods from producer to consumer. (Note 3)

Marketing Definition From MSN Encarta Dictionary

The business activity of presenting products or services to potential customers in such a way as to make them eager to buy. Marketing includes such matters as the pricing and packaging of the product and the creation of demand by advertising and sales campaigns. (Note 4)

Note the phrasing: "The process," "functions involved," "process or technique," "an aggregate," "the business activity." These all get to the heart of the definition of marketing.

As a process, there are certain foundations of marketing that will never become obsolete. We still have products, services, and ideas to sell at some price. We deliver to our customers via some means of distribution. We promote and we advertise. Those are the basics. Those basics still exist and always will.

If The Marketing Definition Hasn't Changed, Then What Has?

What has changed is the business environment. Companies compete with more efficient technologies. Customers have better access to their cost options and they communicate to each other in ways not conceivable in the pre-Internet age.

In some industries, the Internet has lowered the cost of entry so that entrepreneurs -- many times from a home office -- have entered the competition. The changes in competitive environment are numerous. What have also changed are marketing strategies and the marketing programs we have available to implement those strategies.

These have changed, but the basic marketing definition has not. Superior marketing is and always has been analysis, then action. It is strategy development, then logical and thought-out tactical implementation. It is the way to customer satisfaction and increasing profit.

The steps to successful marketing and implementation include:

1) Analyzing your customers and the business environment in order to

2) identify key opportunities to better and more profitably meet customer needs,

3) figuring out how to act on those opportunities, and then

4) implementing your plan.

The process doesn't have to be cumbersome. Five-year plans and novel-length documents are not required. The logic of the action is what is important.

By applying the basic marketing process, rather than a tactic here and a technique there, your chances of success skyrocket.

Article Marketing & Copywriting Secret: How To Make Your Article TITLE Sell

Most authors are wasting their time producing dozens to hundreds of high quality articles that never reach a fraction of their traffic potential. It's a darn shame.

When I review the behind-the-scenes traffic statistics on over 20,000 articles that have produced over 1 million monthly page views in my article marketing lab...ONE thing is clear: All articles are not created equal even when everything about them is identical except for the TITLE.

The reason is probably not what you think.

If you've been schooled on traditional copywriting, you know that in the offline world, the headline determines as much as 95% of the success of the book or article. This statistic takes into consideration what makes the book title successful: Whether a human buys it or not.

Article Marketing on the Internet is a whole different story because of the way your articles reach humans who have an interest in them.

MYTH: Most people will read your articles because they came to a website and started browsing just like they do if they were to have gone to a local book store to find a book of personal interest.

FACT: Wrong! Most people will search the Internet using one of the major search engines and they will be putting in between 1 to 5 keywords that are related to the topic of the article or information they are looking to locate. The search engines will then deliver results that best match the human's interest.

YOUR GOAL: To have your articles show up in the search engine results for the keywords and topics that are most related to the content of your article.

HOW?

You must embrace this TITLE creation & traffic-building truth:

The first 3-5 words of your TITLE determine the success of your article in terms of how much traffic your article will generate back to your website. Success can only be had when you create keyword rich titles for your articles that match the most commonly searched keywords for your topic.

How to determine which keywords are rich and the right ones to use for your article?

You'll need a keyword research tool. Some are free and some are fee-based. Overture.com has a popular keyword research tool that shows you the most common search results from the Yahoo search engines directory. If you want to see what's on "Google's Mind" you can try one of their current beta tools called "Google Suggest": http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en&complete=1

Whether you use a web-based keyword research tool or invest in one of the more advanced application level software keyword research tools, it's critical that you learn know how to do keyword research.

A "Good" vs. "Bad" TITLE Example:

Here is an example of the difference between a non-keyword rich TITLE vs. a very keyword rich TITLE that is proven to perform better in terms of traffic creation:

Bad TITLE Example:

"Top 9 Ways You Can Acquire Fractional Jet Ownership"

Excellent Keyword Rich Title Example:

Fractional Jet Ownership - 9 Strategies to Help You Acquire Your Private Jet

Why is it more effective?

Because it does not waste the first 3 words of the title with meaningless garbage words like "top" or the number "9" or "ways"...and gets right to the important words that might be found when someone is using a search engine to research a topic related to your article.

You'll also notice in my example that I included the word "Private" Jet. Why? Because my keyword research said that people who search for fractional jet also search for the word "private jet" and therefore I wanted to boost the chances that my title would be found by a larger number of potential visitors to the article.

Two recommendations on what NOT to do:

1) Don't include garbage characters in your TITLE such as quotes, tildes, asterisks or anything else that a search engines has to work hard to discard in order to understand the TITLE of your article.

2) Do not engage in any search engine spam technique by having keyword rich TITLES that have nothing to do with the topic of your article. You'll only be hurting yourself as the search engines already aggressively filter out bad behavior like this.

YOUR INTELLIGENT KEYWORD RICH TITLE COPYWRITING CONCLUSION:

If you want to maximize your results from any article marketing strategy, you must master keyword research so that you can create keyword rich and intelligent article TITLES. Your pay off will be massive amounts of traffic to your articles and website thanks to the search engines who love smart keyword rich TITLES!

Search Engine Marketing

First let me say that you should write for your audience and not the search engines. Now, with that being said, you will at some point have to consider Search Engine Marketing. To get major traffic to your site, you need the help of search engines.

If you ask 100 webmasters you will probably get 100 different methods of getting recognized by search engines, but they will probably all agree on one method. Quality links to your sites! If there is a site ranking well on Google and they link to a post you wrote, that will give you a favorable chance of getting ranked well. Now, will one link put you on the first page of Google? Probably not. You need quality links from numerous sites.

First let me tell what I mean about Quality links. If someone who just started a site links to your site, it will not be as important as someone who has an established site with numerous pages that rank well. How do you get quality links? Write Quality posts! Search Engine Marketing starts with quality content. If you have excellent content, you establish readership, which in turn will develop return visits from readers. Return visits from readers gives you a better chance of ranking well with search engines. High rankings drives traffic to your site, high traffic helps your rankings with search engines. It is sort of a double edge sword, but the key is quality content.

Once you have established a site, start writing posts or pages and add to it daily. Do not write just to be writing. Write about meaningful ideas or subjects. Write about things you are passionate about. Sell the sizzle! There will be more ideas for Search Engine Marketing, but this is the foundation. Start here and we will add to it as we go.

How to Use E-books for Marketing and Promotion

There are innumerable ways to use E-Books to promote your business and drive quality traffic to your website. Once posted on your site, you can turn them into a daily course, which brings your customer back to read the next chapter. You can use them as a free gift for making a purchase or for filling out a survey. Put your E-Book on a disc, and you will have an innovative brochure. Blow your competition away by inserting the disc into your sales packages.

The most effective marketing products are those that are unique. Copyright your E-Book, and immediately, you have a powerful tool that you, and you alone, can offer to the public. People will have to visit your site to acquire your E-Book, which increases the flow of quality traffic and the potential of sales and affiliate contacts.

Make sure that you keep your E-Book current. Update it frequently as the market and trends change. Add new advice and techniques to show your prospects how your goods or services can enrich their lives. By constantly keeping abreast of new trends and techniques, you can continue to see profits from your E-Book for years after your original creation.

Another phenomenal advantage of E-Books is that you can test their marketing potential without putting out hardly any cash at all. You can even produce an E-Book one copy at a time, each time you receive an order, eliminating the need for storage and inventory. By this method, you can gauge the salability of your E-Book, and make adjustments as necessary until the orders start pouring in. E-Books allow you to learn about your market and customer habits and motivation over a period of time, without risking your precious financial resources. They also provide you with an invaluable way to gather marketing information, which you can use in many different facets of your business.

Use your E-Book to discover what the specific goals and problems are in your specific industry. Then figure out how to solve these problems, and publish an E-Book with this invaluable information. This will increase the value of your business, upgrade your reputation, and get you known as an expert in your field.

You can extend the value of single E-Book by breaking the book down into chapters for a serial course, into special reports available on your website, or into audio or visual tapes. E-Books can be broken down into several different promotional materials by accepting some of the articles and using them to promote your product. You can include a catalog in your E-Book to promote all the products or services you sell. You can include a thank-you note for reading your book and an invitation to download a trial version of your product. Or you can include a form for your audience to contact you for further information or with questions, thereby building your business relationships and your mailing list.

Using E-Books in this manner helps to cut the cost of individually producing separate promotional materials. You can use a single E-Book to entice new prospects and to sell new products to your current customers.

No other medium has this kind of flexibility and ability for expansion. Think of your E-Book like a spider spinning a beautiful and intricate web. Now go and create that web, and see how many customers and prospects you can catch!

PPC Advertising and Article Marketing - Compare and Contrast

I have used both PPC advertising (Google Adsense, Yahoo Overture, and some smaller ones) and I have submitted massive numbers of articles to easily over 100 article directories.

So I have a little first hand knowledge of what happens when I use either.

I will go with the pros and cons of each:

PPC:

Pros: One thing that is really nice about PPC is that you can dial up your efforts very quickly. With the right budget, and a broad enough keyword selection, you can easily get a few hundred hits per day, which is nice for testing new squeeze pages, and opt in scripts.

So two things happen here, you are testing your squeeze pages quickly and easily, and you are adding subscribers.

Cons: One thing I do not like about PPC is that my long term open rates are about 1/5 of the long term open rates of article-generated subscribers. So long run, I am not getting much bang for my buck.

Article Marketing:

Pros: The visitors I get from articles are very highly targeted, as long as my squeeze page corresponds with the content in the article. I now offer 4 different email lists to which visitors can opt in, and each has a different focus. This creates an almost hungry subscriber - they are hungry for more information from me, which translates into very high sales per subscriber.

Cons: Articles are time consuming to write and time consuming to submit. Sure, you can have someone ghost write your articles, but I really believe that a real connection occurs when you write the article yourself. Then they get to your squeeze page and the squeeze page has the same feel as the article, if you wrote it yourself. I think this connection is one of the reasons my conversion rate on my subscribers to customers is so high.

Conclusion: I am using PPC sparingly and writing much more. Perhaps your time is more limited than mine, so your mix will be a little heavier on the PPC side. But I think that long term testing of both is critical. Then you can make an educated decision about the best mix for you and you campaigns.

A Viral Marketing Glossary

Viral marketing is the concept of doing something once and having it produce for months or years. You make an electronic publication of some sort, such as an article, video, audio, or PDF file. You then put it into circulation and it gets copied over and over again. Each copy puts what you want (usually links or the URL for it) in front of someone else. The result is that over time, you get more and more of what you're seeking (page rank, money, credibility, or all of the above!) from a single action taken, which may not even cost you much at all.

Viral marketing has its own terms like anything else, and instead of making you run around the Net finding them, I'll list them here.

Article Marketing: This is the concept of writing an article with a resource box and putting on a free article site to be used as content by other sites. Those sites must keep the resource box in consideration for its use, and you can use this to build traffic and page rank for your site. Examples of free articles sites are GoArticles.com, ArticleRich.com, and EzineArticles.com.

Buzz: Excitement about a product, service, or site that generates word-of-mouth recommendations, sales, or free traffic.

Copyright: A filed legal right on a work that gives you exclusive rights to reproduce, perform, and distribute it. You need this in order to issue those rights to someone else and still have recourse if they try to rip you off.

Forum Marketing: You find and participate in a forum site about your site's topic, and sign your name with your site link. People visit your site from the link, generating traffic.

PDF file: Portable Document Format file. This is the foundation of viral report and ebook generation. If you're creating something for Internet based sale or distribution, this is what you're making. These can be read by programs like Adobe Acrobat.

PDF file maker: This is a piece of software that can make PDF files from other types of files, like text and HTML files. Adobe also has a service that will allow unlimited PDF generation for a monthly fee.

Rebrandable: The capacity of a person who may want to distribute or sell your work to electronically 'personalize' it. A program that creates and enables rebrandability is referred to as a rebrander. This makes your products more attractive to distribution and gives it a better chance of being picked up and sold/given away.

Resale rights: These are the rights you give a person to sell your work and keep all the money. This is only useful when you have some form of back-end sales theory at work in your product, like traffic generation to a commercial site or affiliate links. This form of right also comes in the master resale rights version, which means anyone who sells your ebook may also give the buyer resale rights too.

Viral Report: A report of roughly 7-15 pages length, designed to be given away for free to distribute your links. People looking to sweeten opt-ins or product deals can use these types of reports to do it and will distribute it for you in this way if its worthwhile.

Viral EBook: A full-sized version of the viral report, usually issued with resale rights so the people distributing it can make money. These ebooks contain site links, affiliate links, or both. You must take the time and effort to make a saleable product to do this effectively, but a viral ebook can prove profitable in the long run.

These will get you started with your viral marketing understanding.

7 Good Reasons Why Just One Network Marketing System is What You Need

I have been using the Internet to get traffic for my website for over four years now. Things change very fast and new traffic tools popup like popcorn. They can all be a huge waste of time for anyone. It is not wise to purchase the latest traffic tool or search the Internet for new traffic tools... Let me tell you why.

Here are 7 reasons why you should start a network marketing system. A network marketing system is just one system that consists of many traffic tools.

1. Many new traffic tools that popup are all very similar. The tools or system they use is similar to the others same way popcorn is. The sales pages are different, the owners are not the same but the so called new traffic tool is nothing new in most cases.

2. If you don't have one network marketing system, you get frustrated. Ordering four traffic tools won't drive any traffic to your site. Use at least one of them to its full potential. For example you buy a classified blaster; you are not using it well if you don't track your ads, clicks and traffic. Neither if you don't learn copywriting. So if you order also a message board blaster, it is useless without even using the classified blaster well.

3. Learn all you can about the traffic tool you ordered. Don't buy anything else before you do so. Even banner advertising, FFA's and safelists are still very effective methods to get huge amount of traffic. You need to use them the right way. You won't use FFA's anymore because you think they are useless. Posting your link on 1000's of them is really useless.

But owing just two FFA's is completely different and the opposite. Notice I said owing not posting. Owing an FFA costs no more than 10 dollars a month. Again you must use your FFA to its full potential before looking at something new.

4. The Internet is like a magazine, but very huge. The ads are not only on inside the pages. They are everywhere, and even popup where you don't expect them. To compare the Internet with a magazine, imagine you hold the Internet on your hands. You cannot close it and place it on a shelf. Many ads will popup in front of you even though you close it.

That means you should stay focused on your goals. Don't let the advertisements of new products distract you. You must have one network marketing system. You build that buy using one tool to its full potential before adding another to the network.

5. Copywriting is a skill you need to learn. You don't become a copywriter overnight but its the skill you can learn even if you cannot write an article. Many marketing tools you can add to your network marketing system require the use of ads, headlines and sales messages. You need to discover which ads attract people. There are many tracking tools to test your ads.

This is the one skill you need if you are writing any sort of ads. This skill and the tracking tools will help drive 10 times more traffic then before.

Learn that skill if you write ads, don't waste money trying to find a system that will guarantee you instant traffic.

6. Use articles to learn, they provide free valuable information. Knowledge is king. Don't wait to see the next best thing to buy it. If you already have traffic tools learn how to use those 110% well. Even a simple message board blaster can drive 10 times more traffic if you test your ads. Use the free information to learn and become expert in your field of internet marketing. Experts don't buy all the new products; they create the products themselves because they are experienced and have value to offer.

7. If you think you will change your life with the new traffic tool you just ordered then you may be completely wrong. The network marketing system you need won't consist of only tools. You have to actually use and learn to how to use the tools. You will fall prey to the new tools that will appear, and might promise even better results... Stick with what you know now, cause new products popup anytime, every week.

The network marketing system is a complete set of traffic tools you know how to use. You cannot learn more than one thing at a time. Each tool needs to be used to its full potential or you waste time, money and fall prey to better promises by new tools.

These concepts worked for many leaders who were making 6 figure incomes. There will be some people that won't agree with some of the information that I present, but It has some merit and you may alter them to fit your personality and business style.

Lets start with #1

1) < B>You have to get into a warm market.

Now, many people think you need to run over to Uncle Ben's place and ask to borrow some rice and while you are there, pop the question. "So Uncle Ben, want to make a 6 figure income? I know how...!" - More than likely, Uncle Ben will do one of two things. Pop ya in the nose or laugh and ask, "how are you doing or how much have you made so far?" Wouldn't you agree? (Tom Hopkins - Yes I've been there and done that too.) To which, most newbies reply, "well...nothing yet, but I'm gunna make a killing, wait till I bring over some stuff for you to look at!" STOP - HOLD THE PHONES KIDS! Don't do that. Tell him to buy you lunch and you will meet him at the local McDonalds in 60 min with a duffle bag full of Tile Cleaning Products. Pause.... and look at the look on his face. When he hunches over and is about to barf, run like the wind Forest.

HONESTLY! - hehe Don't go tell anyone you know RIGHT AWAY! Simply DON'T! There are a few things to consider before doing this....

Weigh these questions...

Do you have credibility?
Do you know your compensation plan inside and out?
Do you know your product inside and out?

If you answered no, maybe or not sure to any of these, then you are lacking enough merit to talk to your immediate family and close friends right out of the gate. They will not be serious. They don't want to see someone they know, (who isn't a big success already) succeed big, and most likely will be the most negative, time wasters. Spinning your wheels and getting no where the first few days out of the gate is not a good investment into your mental and financial pocketbook. ONLY talk to close friends and relatives, right out of the gate, if you have serious credibility and they already listen and take things you say very serious. This usually means that you need to have a track record with good success with regards to money earning and/or business sense potential.

If you lack credibility in any sense of the word, it is best to hold off on close contacts. You need to generate income ASAP to build momentum. Your warm market really is anyone with a pulse that ISN'T related to you. Your HOT market is people looking for what you have to offer them. Those are the contacts that have their money out waiting for what you have to offer them. Find this market and you have yourself a winning hand.

You ask, "How do I market to my warm market if I can't go talk to family and friends right away?" Many trainers try to get new members/distributors to try and talk to this crowd right away...I think like this...If you make money in your business, all you need to do with those people is show them a pay stub and it speaks in volumes. You don't have to spin your wheels. Most of them will instantly think you have credibility and know your stuff and will follow suit. It’s amazing what money can say for you. That market isn't going anywhere. They most likely will not get you to the top right out of the gate though if you lack any kind of credibility.

You must get into the right market and find out their most desirable desires, burning questions, scariest fears and goofiest problems.

You do that, and find out what they are, then you are almost half way to a marketing boom. We will talk about how to do that in another article.

Now for #2

2) Create some kind of online/newspaper/ad presence that addresses those questions and/or feelings in your prospects.

Focus on how to get them feeling. You want them to tie emotions with your offer. People buy or make money decisions based on emotion, not logic most of the time. When was the last time you were feeling bad and decided to go buy a bunch of junk food or fast food to make you feel better? Now you know why Americans are getting so over weight. People buy based on emotion. They buy things that make them or perceive to make them feel better.

Take a brief look at fast food. Its been proven in several studies, that the food actually does have an emotional and physiological effect on how you feel when you eat it. It’s like a high almost. You get a rush of adrenaline when you eat fast food. Its loaded with cards, sugar, fat and things that tell the brain you are being taken care of psychologically. It’s a real interesting study. Now you know why Ronald McDonald has red hair.

So if you create a presence that pushes the same kind of buttons, people have no choice but to gravitate to what it is you are trying to say.

Practice trying to push some of these buttons on people, and see how they respond...its fun.... OK

3) Coerce them to your web page as soon as you can.

This is one of the hardest aspects of your business marketing. Getting prospects to your web page is also one of the most important aspects of your business and is ether going to make or break your momentum.

There are a number of ways to get hits on your web page. We will discuss this in another article.

4) You need to get the people that go to your web page, to take action.

You need to incorporate number 2 into this equation. Add feeling triggers when relating a message on your page. You have to make it short and to the point. Most visitors to a page decide with-in 8-10 sec if they are going to stay and look longer. If you don’t capture their attention with-in 8 to 10 seconds, chances are they are going to leave. The more visitors to a site and the more repeating visitors, the more busy a front/index/splash/landing page can be, and maintain their interest. I suggest one page that is short, sweet, easy to read, and pushes feeling buttons.

The most important thing you must achieve on your main web page, where you drive your traffic, is to GET THEM TO TAKE ACTION! Bribe them to fill out your form, click your link, reply to your offer, etc. You need to offer them something they can’t refuse. A bribe that would make them appear totally crazy NOT to take action. If they don’t take action based on your offer, then you automatically screened the people out that are so skeptical, scared and unsure of things, that they now wont be wasting your time down the road.

Offer them a free newsletter, consultation, more information etc. It really does work well. There are numerous places on the net where you can get info on how to create these items.

Last, but not Least!
5) Make sure you follow up with them.

Having a good system for follow up is very important. The use of auto email responders works well along with the old phone call follow up technique. You can set your email responders to send out emails every few days. Auto responders are good ways to provide follow ups with out having to actually remember all the emails that need to be made. Have a template of several emails that can be sent out on various days. Make sure you have an “opt out link” on the emails, so those individuals that get them, can “opt out” of the email campaign.

I hope these few tid-bits of info for MLM Marketing has helped a little. Its not that in depth, but it might give you just a little bit of an edge on one little thing that could provide you with a little more income, and it was all free, so the price was right. Wouldn’t you agree? ;-)

Link Popularity - How Article Marketing Can Help You With Your Link Popularity

Link popularity is so very important today in the arena of natural search engine rankings.

But how do you achieve link popularity and do it with a minimal cost? Sure, you can buy links, but are they really cost effective? My biased opinion is that they are not.

But in my also biased opinion, article writing for link popularity is very cost effective, especially if you are just getting started online and have more time than money.

How does it work?

With article marketing, you write articles that are tightly themed to the niche market of your web site. You include in those articles a link or two to your own web site, with anchor text that corresponds to a keyword for which you want to have high link popularity.

Next, you submit those articles to various online article directories, and when they publish the articles, you will receive back links with your anchor text link included in the articles.

Those back links create link popularity for you at a much lower cost than paying for the links.

One useful thing to think about:

When you are writing articles for the circulation, submit many articles to a few article directories that are big, get big traffic and have RSS delivery to other sites.

When you are writing articles for link popularity, write a few articles and submit them to every article directory, no matter how big or small. That will create more back links.

Now start writing!
